导读研究 Title：Rebuilding Ancient Governments, Online and in the Real World
导读梗概 Abstract:
In the course of a multi-year project, our project has been working to recreate political systems described in the Chinese classics. The team began by building a computer simulation of legalist government mechanisms as described in the Guanzi and the Salt and Iron Discourses, aiming to find out whether the measures and incentives described in the book would produce the social and political structures predicted.

导读分享 Title：A Philosophical Reflection on Chinese Culture – What do we hope to achieve by promoting Chinese culture?
导读梗概 Abstract：
Increasingly more youths in Singapore are saying that Chinese culture is outdated and irrelevant. Is there truth to this complaint, or could we be emphasising things in the culture that ceases to resonate with our youths? In this session, we will re-examine the role and place of Chinese culture in our modern times through a philosophical exploration on the purpose and possibilities of culture.
主讲者Speaker：Jonathan Y. H. Sim（沈耀发博士，南洋孔教会青年团团委），Lecturer with the Department of Philosophy in NUS. He specialises in both Classical Chinese Philosophy and the Philosophy of Computing and Data Analysis.
